SW Applet: Time System Status to Actice Directory.

This application reads time system status changes and updates Active Directory (AD) attribute info accordingly. (Used attibute can be selected.)

Time System servers (such as Niscayah's Timecon server) output status changes via fixed size tcp/ip packets. The TS2AD program will listen to those tcp/ip packets sent by the time system server. Once the input information is processed the TS2AD application will send LDAP update to the AD server for a selected LDAP attribute (for example info) of the user who's time system status has been changes.

Once the data (Time System status info) in located in AD, other application may use it. ANDTEK Phone Server (APAS) and Arc Enterprise server (among other dispatch systems) would be examples of suchs system that would have good use for this data. Please note that AD/LDAP attibute info is displayed as Notes when using Active Directory Users and Comptuers application.

ANDTEK Phone Server (APAS) read all directory information from LDAP sources in real-time.

Thus all time system status changes would be noticeable for ADAP console operator immediately.

Arc Enterprise would get all of its internal directory data from AD. Arc server would use "Monitor Change Notification" options so that updated information on AD would propagate instantly to Arc (without having to wait for the next scheduled sync).

Thus Arc Oprator Console (=dispatch client) users would have visibility to Time System data in addition to Arc Presence and other information available on AD.

Price: all environments are somewhat different and thus prices may very. We provide time system to AD integration as a turn key solution (software development and installation included). info@loukola.com
